Our fees for data desctruction

We can either erase the media so it can be reused by you or we can physically destroy the media in a secure environment.

Cost to erase the media:

• $40 per Hard Disk or Tape
• $8 per Floppy Disk, CD, Flash Drive or Memory Card

Cost to physically destroy the media:

• $20 per Hard Disk / Tape
• $5 per Floppy Disk, CD, Flash Drive or Memory Card

This method involves the physical destruction of the media which includes data to be wiped by each sector. The item is then either crushed or burned in an environmental friendly area or melted at an electronic recycling facility only after the item is physically shattered and cannot be repaired.

We highly recommended that the media to be either dropped by you or picked up by our own staff. We can also arrange a courier if this suits your busy lifestyle. Pickup is free for corporate clients if you have more than 20 items and have an account with us.

After completion a certificate of destruction will be issued.

Secure Wipe

If you intend to use the laptop or is a leased equipment. You can book us for a secure wipe service. Service is based on the size of the hard drive and location.
